Their Royal Highnesses afterwards visited Newcastle upon Tyne YMCA, 592 Welbeck Road, Walker, Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Cathedrals in Pilgrimage, and The Duchess of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Cathedral Music Trust, later visited the Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas, Newcastle upon Tyne.
