His Excellency Mr. Rohitha Bogollagama was received in audience by The King this morning and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka in London.

His Majesty was represented by the Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry KT (His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Roxburgh, Ettrick and Lauderdale) at the Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Donald Cameron of Lochiel (formerly Her late Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Inverness) which was held at St. Columba's Church, Pont Street, London SW1, this afternoon.

The Princess Royal was represented by Mr. Hamish Leslie-Melville.

The King was represented by General Sir Nicholas Parker (Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire) at the Funeral of Mr. John Bush (formerly Her late Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire) which was held at Edington Priory Church, Edington, Westbury, Wiltshire, this afternoon.

The Queen was represented by Mrs. Peter Troughton.

The Princess Royal was represented by Captain Sir Nicholas Wright RN.

The King, Patron, and The Queen this morning visited the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, 62-64 Gower Street, London WC1, to celebrate its One Hundred and Twentieth Anniversary and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), Mr. Marcus Ryder (Chairman of Council) and Ms. Niamh Dowling (Principal).

Their Majesties, escorted by the Chairman and Principal, viewed a performance in the black box theatre, visited the design studio and met students, alumni and members of staff in the cafeteria.

Ms. Samantha Mostyn (Governor-General designate of the Commonwealth of Australia) was received in audience by The King this afternoon.

The Queen, Patron, SafeLives, this afternoon received Mrs. Suzanne Jacob at Clarence House upon relinquishing her appointment as Chief Executive.

Her Majesty, Patron, National Youth Orchestra, received Mr. Christopher Satterthwaite at Clarence House upon his appointment as Chairman of Trustees.

The King and Queen this evening visited the Chelsea Flower Show of the Royal Horticultural Society in the Gardens of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea.

Their Majesties later visited The King's Foundation Exhibition at the Garrison Chapel, Chelsea Barracks, London SW1, and were received by the Chief Operating Officer of The King's Foundation (Ms. Emily Cherrington) and Dame Ann Limb (Deputy Chairman).

The Queen, Patron, the Charleston Trust, this morning visited Charleston Literary Festival, Charleston House, Firle, and, having been received by Mr. Graham Peters (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex), attended a talk entitled "the Power of Reading" and a Reception.

Her Majesty this afternoon met representatives of local organisations and community groups at the Parish Church of St. Mary, Church Square, Rye, and was received by Mrs. Sarah Kowitz (Deputy Lieutenant of East Sussex).

The Queen afterwards visited Lamb House, West Street, Rye, and attended a Reception for the E.F. Benson Society, the Friends of Tilling and National Trust volunteers.

The King, as Sovereign of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, with The Queen, Grand Master, drove to St. Paul's Cathedral this morning to attend a Service of the Order.

Their Majesties were received at the foot of the Cathedral Steps by the Rt. Hon. the Lord Mayor and at the Great West Door by the Dean of St. Paul's, the Chapter, the Bishop of London (Prelate of the Order) and the Lay Officials of the Order.

His Majesty's Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms and The King's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard were on duty.

The King and Queen gave an Afternoon Party in the garden of Buckingham Palace to celebrate the Creative Industries.

The Duke of Edinburgh and The Duchess of Gloucester were present.
