His Majesty was present at The King's Birthday Parade on Horse Guards Parade this morning at which The King's Colour of Number 9 Company, Irish Guards was Trooped.

The King was accompanied by The Queen (Colonel, Grenadier Guards), The Duke of Edinburgh (Colonel, Scots Guards), The Prince of Wales (Colonel, Welsh Guards), The Princess of Wales (Colonel, Irish Guards) with Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales, and The Princess Royal (Gold Stick in Waiting and Colonel, The Blues and Royals, Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons).

His Majesty was attended by Lieutenant General Sir Edward Smyth-Osbourne (Colonel, The Life Guards), Lieutenant General Sir James Bucknall (Colonel, Coldstream Guards) and Major General James Bowder (Major General Commanding Household Division).

The Lord de Mauley (Master of the Horse), Colonel Toby Browne, Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Segrave (Mounted Equerries in Waiting), Lieutenant Colonel Michael Vernon, Captain Hugh Scrope (Dismounted Equerries in Waiting) and Brigadier Mark Berry (The Life Guards, Silver Stick in Waiting) were in attendance.

Colonel Guy Stone (Chief of Staff), Lieutenant Colonel Ralph Griffin (Silver Stick Adjutant) and the Household Division Staff were present.

The Procession was led by Lieutenant Colonel James Shaw, Grenadier Guards (Brigade Major Household Division).

The troops on Parade, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel James Coleby, Coldstream Guards (Field Officer in Brigade Waiting), received The King with a Royal Salute.

The Duchess of Edinburgh with The Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence and other Members of the Royal Family drove to Horse Guards Parade and witnessed The King's Birthday Parade.

On the conclusion of the Parade, His Majesty drove in a carriage back to Buckingham Palace at the head of The King's Guard, preceded by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery, under the command of Major John Baileff, the Massed Mounted Bands of the Household Cavalry, the Sovereign's Escort of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment, under the command of Major Thomas Stewart (The Life Guards), and the Massed Bands of the Guards Division.

On arrival at Buckingham Palace, The King's Guard entered the Forecourt and formed up opposite the Old Guard, the remaining Guards marching past His Majesty. The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery ranked past The King.

His Majesty, from Buckingham Palace, witnessed a fly-past by aircraft of the Royal Air Force, led by Wing Commander Andrew Shaw, to mark the official celebration of The King's Birthday.

Royal Salutes were fired today by The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery in Green Park and from the Tower of London Saluting Battery by the Honourable Artillery Company, under the command of Captain Charles Martin.

The Queen, Colonel, Grenadier Guards, this evening attended the Senior Colonels' Conference at Clarence House.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Mrs. Irma Natalia Royo Ruiz de Hagerman at 40 Hertford Street, London W1, this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Panama to the Court of St. James's.

The King and Queen were present at the Service of Celebration for the Life of the late Lord Rothschild OM which was held at Waddesdon Manor, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, this morning.

By command of His Majesty, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr. Fahad bin Mohammed Abdulla Abdulla Al-Attiyah at 1 South Audley Street, London W1, this afternoon in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the State of Qatar to the Court of St. James's.

Her Excellency Ms. Katerina Stavreska was received in audience by The King this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of North Macedonia to the Court of St. James's.

Her Excellency Mrs. Ismara Mercedes Vargas Walter was received in audience by The King and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Cuba to the Court of St. James's.

Mr. Victor Manuel Brizuela Fonseca was also received by His Majesty.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The Queen, Patron, this afternoon visited the Garden Museum, 5 Lambeth Palace Road, London SE1, and viewed the "Gardening Bohemia: Bloomsbury Women Outdoors" Exhibition.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The King, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this morning.

The King this morning received representatives of the Artificial Intelligence Community.

His Majesty later received a Briefing from Constitutional Experts.

The King, Royal Founding President, this evening held a Reception at St. James's Palace for The King's Foundation Awards.

His Majesty was represented by the Very Reverend Professor David Fergusson (Dean of the Chapel Royal in Scotland) at the Funeral of the Very Reverend Dr. James Simpson (former Chaplain to The late Queen and Extra Chaplain to The King) which was held at St. Leonard's in the Fields Church, Marshall Place, Perth, this afternoon.

Windsor Castle

The King, Colonel-in-Chief, today presented new Colours to the Irish Guards in the Quadrangle of Windsor Castle.

Having been received upon arrival by the Regimental Lieutenant Colonel (Major General Sir Christopher Ghika) and the Regimental Adjutant (Major Niall Hall), His Majesty was received on Parade with a Royal Salute and inspected the Regiment.

After the Colours were consecrated The King presented them to the Regiment.

The King was graciously pleased to address the Parade and the Parade Commander (Major Richard Trant) replied.

The Irish Guards afterwards marched past His Majesty.

The King and Queen this morning were received at the British Normandy Memorial, 13 Avenue Paul Poret, Ver-sur-Mer, France, by His Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic (Her Excellency Dame Menna Rawlings), the National Chairman of the Royal British Legion (Mr. Jason Coward), the Honorary President, the Normandy Memorial Trust (the Lord Ricketts) and the Mayor of Ver-sur-Mer (Madame Lysiane Le Duc Dréan).

Their Majesties subsequently received The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron.

The King and Queen afterwards attended a Ceremony of Remembrance at Gold Beach to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of D-Day and His Majesty addressed those present.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron, walked to the Memorial Wall where His Majesty and His Excellency laid wreaths.

The King and Queen witnessed a fly-past by the Red Arrows.

Their Majesties, accompanied by The President and Madame Macron, subsequently walked to the French Civilian Memorial where Her Majesty and Madame Macron laid posies.

The King and Queen afterwards attended a Reception for D-Day Veterans.

His Majesty, Royal Patron, the Normandy Memorial Trust, and Her Majesty this afternoon visited the Winston Churchill Centre for Education and Learning and were received by the Chairman, the Normandy Memorial Trust (General the Lord Dannatt) and Mr. Nicholas Witchell (Founder and Trustee).

The King and Queen were received by the Trustees of the British Normandy Memorial before viewing a Royal British Legion display.

Their Majesties afterwards opened the Centre.

The King and Queen later arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from France.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Ms. Agnes Oswaha at Zimbabwe House, 429 Strand, London WC2, this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of South Sudan to the Court of St. James's.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, today attended the National Commemorative Event at Southsea Common, Portsmouth, to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of the D-Day Landings and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson), the Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) and Defence Services Secretary (Major General Eldon Millar).

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth (Councillor Jason Fazackarley) surrendered to The King the Keys of the City of Portsmouth, which His Majesty returned to him.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, viewed the National Commemorative Event comprising testimonial readings and musical performance.

His Majesty, accompanied by Her Majesty, addressed those present and viewed a flypast.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, met Veterans of D-Day and their families.

The Governor-General of Solomon Islands was received in audience by The King this afternoon.

Lady Vunagi was also received by His Majesty.

The King later received representatives and supporters of His Majesty's Coronation Food Project.
