The Princess Royal this morning opened Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust Forest of Dean Community Hospital, Steam Mills Road, Cinderford, and was received by Mr. Roger Deeks (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Ruskin Mill Trust, Ruskin Mill College, Old Bristol Road, Nailsworth, and was received by Mr. Philip Vickery (Deputy Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).

Buckingham Palace

The King and Queen this morning were received at the British Normandy Memorial, 13 Avenue Paul Poret, Ver-sur-Mer, France, by His Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic (Her Excellency Dame Menna Rawlings), the National Chairman of the Royal British Legion (Mr. Jason Coward), the Honorary President, the Normandy Memorial Trust (the Lord Ricketts) and the Mayor of Ver-sur-Mer (Madame Lysiane Le Duc Dréan).

Their Majesties subsequently received The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron.

The King and Queen afterwards attended a Ceremony of Remembrance at Gold Beach to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of D-Day and His Majesty addressed those present.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The President of the French Republic and Madame Macron, walked to the Memorial Wall where His Majesty and His Excellency laid wreaths.

The King and Queen witnessed a fly-past by the Red Arrows.

Their Majesties, accompanied by The President and Madame Macron, subsequently walked to the French Civilian Memorial where Her Majesty and Madame Macron laid posies.

The King and Queen afterwards attended a Reception for D-Day Veterans.

His Majesty, Royal Patron, the Normandy Memorial Trust, and Her Majesty this afternoon visited the Winston Churchill Centre for Education and Learning and were received by the Chairman, the Normandy Memorial Trust (General the Lord Dannatt) and Mr. Nicholas Witchell (Founder and Trustee).

The King and Queen were received by the Trustees of the British Normandy Memorial before viewing a Royal British Legion display.

Their Majesties afterwards opened the Centre.

The King and Queen later arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from France.

By command of The King, Mr. Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon Her Excellency Ms. Agnes Oswaha at Zimbabwe House, 429 Strand, London WC2, this morning in order to bid farewell to Her Excellency upon relinquishing her appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of South Sudan to the Court of St. James's.

Kensington Palace

The Prince of Wales today carried out the following engagements in Normandy, France, to commemorate the Eightieth Anniversary of the D-Day Landings and was received by Mr. Theophilus Rycroft (Deputy Head of Mission, British Embassy in Paris).

His Royal Highness this morning attended a Ceremony of Remembrance to commemorate Canada's role in the D-Day Landings at Juno Beach Centre, Voie des Français Libres, Courseulles-sur-Mer.

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The King, this afternoon attended the International Ceremony at Omaha Beach, Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer.

Mr. Ian Patrick, Mr. Lee Thompson and Commander Robert Dixon RN were in attendance.

The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh this afternoon attended the Armistice Day Service of Remembrance at the National Memorial Arboretum, Croxall Road, Alrewas, and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Staffordshire (Mr. Ian Dudson).

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester this evening attended the "D-Day 80: Remembering the Normandy Landings" Concert at the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gore, London SW7, and were received by Mr. Stuart Shilson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Kent, Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, this afternoon unveiled a Memorial in honour of the fallen of the Royal Warwickshire Regiment at the Peacock Gardens, Warwick Castle, and was received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire (Mr. Timothy Cox).

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning attended the Annual Founder's Day Parade at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, Royal Hospital Road, London SW3.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), this afternoon attended a Household Cavalry Council Meeting at Hyde Park Barracks, London SW7.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, today attended the National Commemorative Event at Southsea Common, Portsmouth, to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of the D-Day Landings and were received by His Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr. Nigel Atkinson), the Rt. Hon. Rishi Sunak (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) and Defence Services Secretary (Major General Eldon Millar).

The Lord Mayor of Portsmouth (Councillor Jason Fazackarley) surrendered to The King the Keys of the City of Portsmouth, which His Majesty returned to him.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, viewed the National Commemorative Event comprising testimonial readings and musical performance.

His Majesty, accompanied by Her Majesty, addressed those present and viewed a flypast.

The King and Queen, accompanied by The Prince of Wales, met Veterans of D-Day and their families.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Chairman, The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation, this afternoon attended a Meeting with the Youth Department of the Council of Europe at Marlborough House, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, Colonel-In-Chief, The Royal Regina Rifles, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this afternoon unveiled a statue and attended a Reception at 10 Place des Canadiens, Thue et Mue, Bretteville.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended a Service of Commemoration and Reception to mark the Eightieth Anniversary of the Normandy Landings at Bayeux War Cemetery, 1945 Boulevard Fabian Ware, Bayeux.

Her Royal Highness, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this evening attended the Annual Service in Bayeux Cathedral to commemorate the Anniversary of the D-Day Landings and was received by His Majesty's Ambassador to the French Republic (Her Excellency Dame Menna Rawlings).

The Princess Royal, President, Commonwealth War Graves Commission, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, afterwards attended a Service to commemorate the Eightieth Anniversary of the Normandy Landings at Bayeux War Cemetery.

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, later arrived at Royal Air Force Northolt, London, from France.
