The Duke of Sussex visited Zambia on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th November 2018. His Royal Highness visited the Commonwealth country at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. While in the region The Duke also attended a board meeting for African Parks, of which he is President.

On arrival in Lusaka, The Duke was greeted by Zambian government Ministers and officials, and British High Commissioner Fergus Cochrane-Dyet.

The Duke of Sussex then called on the President Lungu, who he met at State House.

At a reception hosted by the High Commissioner, The Duke of Sussex spoke of the "friendship between the UK and Zambia", as he met guests from the business and conservation community in Zambia.

My grandmother, Her Majesty The Queen, visited this country in 1979 for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting – and since then, the friendship between Britain and Zambia has remained strong.
